principles of selection for Junior college –
Eligibility – For admission into Higher Secondary Classes (HSC) shall be a pass in High School Certificate) of the BSE Odisha or equivalent/
Admission into various streams & institutions shall done by merit list.
10th class marks taken, weightage & reservation will be taken into consideration in preparing the merit list.
Tie-breaker rule – If the student opted for one HSC and one stream, have the same marks. For arts – higher marks in English and Social students considered as a merit. For Science & Commerce – higher marks in Mathematics & Science considered as a merit.

Principles of Selection –
Eligibility – Min eligibility for admission to +3 0r Degree classes shall be a pass in HSC (+2) exam of CHSE Odisha or equivalent.
Merit List – The admission into different streams/colleges shall be done based on merit. +2 marks considered for admission.
If two applicant who have opted for one college and one stream, they have the same marks. For Arts/Commerce stream – Who have higher marks in English considered as a merit. If they have the same marks in English, then marks in MIL will determine the selection. For Science Stream – English/Chemistry marks will be deciding factor in a similar sequence.
