Once the Indian Navy MR result is released, the selected aspirants will get 15 weeks of basic training at INS Chilka. After that aspirants will get professional training in the trade they are selected for. The training will happen in various naval training centers across the country. Aspirants will be allotted a trade as per service requirements. If a candidate is found unsuitable during the training period then he will be discharged.
